A high shine finish and clean stitching make this one a real beauty. The inside surface is lined with soft buckskin leather. This leather card case is 4-1/4" wide and about 2-1/2" tall. American Alligator - Not an endangered species. "Alligator Mississippi ensis" skins are purchased at U.S. Government controlled auctions and meet strict regulations. They are meticulously selected to minimize inherent flaws. They are tanned by the World's best tanners and polished to a brilliant sheen with a marble glazing tool. The three dimensional effect is a Bombe (bomb-bay) finish which is achieved by applying heat to the center of each tile. A regular application of leather care will preserve the the leather's natural qualities. Search for a leather conditioner recommended for alligator at a local exotic leather shop or department store in your area. The goal is to replace the oils that wear off over time and and add a water and stain resistant coat. Belts should be treated two times a year. Wallets and other products that are compressed should have a monthly application.
